June 9, 2026 — Jeremy Fletcher continued to build momentum in a busy weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, capturing a victory in Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by Michelin competition while also impressing in his first GT4 appearance during the Michelin Pilot Challenge.

Competing for McCumbee McAleer Racing in the Mazda MX-5 Cup, Fletcher delivered a standout performance in Race One, driving to victory against one of the most competitive fields in sports car racing. The win marked another milestone in Fletcher's development as he continues to establish himself among the top young drivers in North America.

Race Two proved more challenging, as an on-track incident prevented Fletcher from adding another strong result to his Mid-Ohio weekend. Despite the setback, Fletcher leaves Ohio encouraged by the speed shown throughout the event.

In addition to his MX-5 Cup duties, Fletcher also stepped behind the wheel of a GT4 machine for the first time, competing in the four-hour Michelin Pilot Challenge race with Copeland Motorsports alongside co-drivers Jaxon Bell and Ford Koch.

The trio delivered an impressive performance, with Fletcher quickly adapting to the GT4 platform and leading several laps during the endurance contest. The team ultimately brought home a fifth-place finish in a highly competitive field.

"Overall, it was a really positive weekend," explained Fletcher. "Winning in MX-5 Cup was a great feeling and a testament to all the hard work from the McCumbee McAleer Racing crew. The second race didn't go our way, but that's part of racing. I was also excited for the opportunity to race in the Michelin Pilot Challenge with Copeland Motorsports. It was my first time in a GT4 car, and I learned a lot throughout the race. Being able to lead laps and come away with a top-five finish alongside Jaxon and Ford made it a weekend I'll remember."

With Mid-Ohio now complete, Fletcher will quickly turn his attention to the next round of Toyota GR Cup competition with Copeland Motorsports at Road Atlanta.

The race weekend will begin with testing on Thursday, followed by two practice sessions on Friday. Saturday's schedule features Qualifying One and Race One, while Sunday will include Qualifying Two and Race Two. Fans can watch all Toyota GR Cup action live at grcupseries.com/watch-live.

Jeremy Fletcher will document his 2026 season across his official social platforms, delivering race weekend coverage, behind-the-scenes content, and ongoing updates. For full driver information, visit JeremyFletcherRacing.com.
