July 8, 2026 – JTR Motorsports Engineering is set to return to Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup competition this weekend as the series heads north of the border to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) for the fifth event weekend of the 2026 season. The team will field a five-car lineup for the only Canadian race weekend on this year's schedule, continuing one of the largest and most competitive programs in the paddock.

JTR Motorsports continued their strong 2026 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by Michelin campaign this past weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, earning a pair of podium finishes and showcasing the depth of their multi-car effort against one of the most competitive fields in sports car racing.

Jeremy Fletcher continued to build momentum in a busy weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, capturing a victory in Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by Michelin competition while also impressing in his first GT4 appearance during the Michelin Pilot Challenge.

Max Stallone – driving for Wheels America Racing with support from PT Autosport – looks to keep his undefeated streak at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course intact this weekend as the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by Michelin heads to the scenic road course for the season’s third round.
